The Motorola Razr 70 arrives as part of a new family of foldable clamshell phones. While the three models look very similar from the outside, their internal differences matter.
Motorola introduced the Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus and Razr 70 Ultra as three options for users who want a compact, modern smartphone with a flexible display. However, each model is designed for a different type of buyer.

Three Foldables With the Same Idea, But Different Goals
The lineup keeps the clamshell format, which makes the phone easier to carry in a pocket. Once opened, each model works like a large-screen smartphone.
Even so, Motorola clearly separates the three versions. The Razr 70 is the entry-level option. The Razr 70 Plus offers a more balanced package with more power and a larger external screen. Meanwhile, the Razr 70 Ultra is the most advanced model in the series.
This strategy makes foldable phones more accessible to different users. It also means buyers do not have to pay for premium features they may not need.

The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is the most powerful phone in the family. It has a 6.96-inch LTPO AMOLED internal display with a 1224 x 2992 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
It also includes a 4-inch OLED external display. In this case, brightness reaches up to 3,000 nits on the outer screen and up to 5,000 nits on the main internal display.
Inside, Motorola uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. As a result, this model is aimed at users who want stronger performance, smoother use and a more premium foldable experience.
Cameras, Battery and Known Prices
All three models include 50 MP cameras, although the Ultra version offers the strongest setup. The Razr 70 and Razr 70 Plus include a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera and a 32 MP front camera.
The Razr 70 Ultra improves the camera system with three 50 MP cameras in total, including the front camera. It is also the most ambitious model in the lineup for photography and video.
Battery capacity also changes between versions. The Razr 70 has a 4,800 mAh battery with 30 W fast charging. The Razr 70 Plus has a 4,500 mAh battery with 45 W charging. Meanwhile, the Razr 70 Ultra includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 68 W fast charging and 30 W wireless charging.
In Spain, announced prices start at 869 euros for the Razr 70. The Razr 70 Plus starts at 1,049 euros, while the Razr 70 Ultra starts at 1,399 euros.
What This Means for Users
The Motorola Razr 70 family shows that foldable phones are no longer different only because of their design. They now compete on display quality, battery life, cameras, processing power and smart features.
For users who want to try a foldable phone without paying the highest price, the Razr 70 may be the most practical option. For those who want a more balanced device, the Razr 70 Plus offers a stronger overall package.
The Razr 70 Ultra, on the other hand, is aimed at users who want Motorola’s best clamshell foldable experience. The final choice will depend on budget, performance needs and how important the external display is in daily use.
