Kia India has refreshed the Carens lineup with the launch of a new premium HTX(O) variant. Based on customer feedback, the company has upgraded the model range to offer more comfort, style, and features. Kia Carens HTX(O): What’s New?
The newly added HTX(O) trim comes loaded with a range of advanced features that enhance both convenience and driving experience. It now includes a premium eight-speaker Bose sound system, which was previously available only in the HTK+ variant.
In addition, the 7-speed DCT version of the HTX(O) comes with features like Drive Mode Select (Eco, Normal, and Sport), Remote Engine Start, and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold function. These updates make the Carens more appealing to families looking for comfort and technology in one package.
Updated Lineup and Availability
Kia has also expanded its six-seater options across multiple trims. The Carens Clavis will now be available in HTK+, HTK+ (O), and HTX(O) trims with a six-seater configuration. The new models will be available at all Kia showrooms across India starting October 13, 2025.

Premium Features of Kia Carens Clavis
The Kia Carens Clavis continues to impress with features designed for comfort and practicality. The second-row seats offer sliding, reclining, and one-touch electric tumble functions, making it easy to access the third row.
It also includes a 26.6-inch dual panoramic display, 64-color ambient lighting, and a shared infotainment and temperature control switch, creating a modern and high-tech cabin experience.
Engine Options and Safety
The Carens Clavis is offered with three engine choices:
- 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol
- 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol
- 1.5-litre turbo diesel
All three engines deliver a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. On the safety front, the Carens includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and a Rollover Sensor.
The top variant also features Level 2 ADAS with 20 autonomous safety features, enhancing both driver confidence and passenger protection.
With these options, the Carens lineup now includes eight trims – HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, HTX+, and the newly introduced HTX(O).
